BIO
“Professionally speaking, success for me is that moment when I watch a client fall in love with a work of art. I sometimes think of myself as an aesthetic matchmaker. I need to have the right tools and expertise to do a great job, but ultimately it comes down to a human connection that allows me to understand what might be the perfect art to suggest to a particular client. At its best, art consulting is an affair of the heart.”

TESTIMONIALS
I hired Jacqueline Becker to provide art consulting services for our brownstone in Boston’s historic Back Bay. Jacqui viewed the artwork that we already owned and advised on appropriate location and hanging options. Each piece was given new life in their new space. Then we moved onto acquiring new art. As very novice art collectors, Jacqui did an outstanding job understanding our vague description of what we liked, and how we envisioned our walls, and presented a tremendous selection of works. Jacqui is a great listener and observer, which made her presentations thoughtful of our vision for the artwork for our home. She took her cues from us, then used her knowledge, and wide net of resources, to present interesting, modern and classic, prints, paintings, sculpture and other forms of visual art.
We were never rushed in this process. Jacqui reiterated the importance of “loving” what we purchased, and we do!
— BACKBAY, BOSTON
It has been a delight to work with Jacqui over the course of the past few years as she helped choose, frame and arrange artwork which has added another dimension of enjoyment to the beauty, comfort and warmth I wanted in my home. The large oil in the living room provides drama and color while a recent addition in my dining room brings tranquility to the space and its meaning resonates on a personal level. A series of three fun and unique pictures in the back hallway brings a smile to my face as I leave and enter the house.
Jacqui has unique resources and a discriminating eye when choosing perfect framing options. Discussions about budget and deadlines were straightforward and met. I recommend working with Jacqui who is dedicated to working with the client to find the right art for the right space.

Ms. Becker is very knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. In addition to providing me with artwork by artists she has worked with in the past, she was open to suggestions for works from artists she had not previously dealt with. She skillfully managed the procurement and restoration of works from masters and living artists alike on my behalf. In representing me to galleries around the world, Ms. Becker advocated for me through each step while managing the procurement of pieces from negotiation, selection, custom commissions, inspection, framing and installation. A knowledgeable and professional art consultant, I recommend Ms. Becker highly.

Without the right art and accessories, my projects are never quite complete. As such, I enjoy introducing my clients to Jacqui Becker and her art consulting services. Art acquisition can be overwhelming for most people, but given her impressive knowledge and experience, Jacqui has the ability to work with each individual and curate art specific to their tastes and budget. Jacqui makes the selection, framing and installation process enjoyable and stress free. My clients love working with her! With Jacqui’s involvement, my projects go from fantastic to phenomenal!

Working with Jacqui was a great experience. We had an empty family room and wanted to start with the art. After spending a short time with us in our home, Jacqui was able to find the perfect pieces to reflect our lifestyle. We enjoyed the process so much we went on to choose work for several other areas in our home.

The art collection throughout our building creates a warmth and a buzz that significantly contributes to the Cubist culture The public relations benefit is phenomenal as almost every guest comments on how wonderful if feels to be surrounded by our art collection. We ask ourselves and our team members to be creative and think ‘outside-the-box’. What a wonderful way to reinforce that concept when you’re surrounded by real life visual examples.
